Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our Refund and Returns Policy lasts for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since the date of your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back without first contacting us at help@awakenedsun.com (see ‘Shipping Returns’ below).

There are certain situations where a full refund or exchange will not be granted, for example:

  • Any item that is not in its original packaging.
  • Any item that has been personalized and/or defined as special order.
  • Any item that is advertised as ‘Downloadable Item’ or ‘Virtual Item’ on its associated product listing page.
  • Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after purchase.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your return. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. The credit will be applied within 10 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If it has been more than 10 business days and you have still not received a refund payment, please complete the following steps:

  1. Check your bank account. One more time just to be sure.
  2. Contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank. There is often some processing time at their end before a refund gets posted.

If you have taken all of the above steps and have still not received your refund, please contact us at help@awakenedsun.com.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have purchased the correct item, including proper size and/or color selection etc. If you need to make an exchange due to a damaged or defective item, send us an email at help@awakenedsun.com explaining your request.

Once an exchange has been authorized and depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and accepted, a gift certificate will be mailed to you within 10 business days.

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver (original purchaser) had the order shipped to themselves to give to you at a later date, we will issue a refund to the original purchaser, and you will have to deal with them directly in regard to any reimbursement.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you must first contact us at help@awakenedsun.com and let us know your order number to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) along with shipping instructions. Any Item returned to us without an RMA will not be accepted. There will be no exceptions.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the maximum amount you will receive is for the original purchase price of the returned item only. Any shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning an expensive item, then we strongly suggest using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Any damages incurred during shipping returns are solely your responsibility.
